Activity Room

Room that displays calendar alerts and shows finalized export files ready for download.

Analytics

Provides insights and data about messaging activities, including metrics on usage patterns, response times, and team performance.

API Access

Allows developers to integrate with Missive’s platform, enabling customization and automation using Missive's API.

Archiving

Allows for the storage of conversations without deleting them, helping to keep the inbox clean while retaining access to past communications.

Assignment

The process of designating a conversation to specific team members, ensuring that the right people are tasked with responding or taking action.

Attachments

Files that are added to emails or messages, which can be documents, images, or other media to support communication.

Auto-Reply

Automated responses sent to received messages, useful for acknowledging receipt or informing senders of absence.

Allows users to apply actions such as archiving, deleting, or labeling to multiple conversations at once, enhancing productivity.

Canned Responses

Comments

Contacts

Conversation Link

A shareable URL that directs to a specific conversation, making it easy to reference or bring others into a discussion.

Conversation Splitting

The ability to divide a conversation into separate threads when topics diverge, maintaining clarity and organization.

Conversation Threads

A series of linked messages within a conversation, providing continuity and context to the discussion.

Conversation Events

Logs of user activities detailing who did what and when.

Conversations

Conversations are versatile places that allow users to collaborate around different message sources like email, SMS, live chat, and more.

Drafts

Messages that are composed but not yet sent, saved within Missive for further editing or sending at a later time.

Email Aliases

Alternative email addresses linked to a user’s main account, allowing sending from different identities for various purposes.

Email Bouncing

Process where emails are returned to the sender due to issues like incorrect email addresses or server problems.

Email Distribution Lists

Groups created to send emails to multiple recipients at once, useful for newsletters or team updates.

Email Encryption

Security feature that protects the contents of emails from being read by unauthorized parties.

Email Forwarding

Redirection of emails to another email address.

Events

Scheduled activities or reminders that can be created within Missive, helping to organize and plan day-to-day activities.

Posts

Messages or updates triggered by the app shown inside conversations.

Quick Actions

Shortcuts within Missive to perform frequent tasks more efficiently, such as replying, archiving, or organizing.

Read Receipts

Notifications indicating when sent emails are opened by the recipient. This feature is not offered by Missive.

Rules

Automated processes set up to handle conversations based on specific triggers, such as sender, subject, keywords or much more.

Search

Feature allowing users to quickly find specific messages, conversations, or files within Missive, using various search criteria.

Send Later

Option to schedule emails to be sent at a future date and time.

Shared Inbox

A collective email inbox managed by a team, allowing multiple users to access and respond to emails collaboratively.

Sidebar

Customizable primary navigation panel that includes mailboxes, pinned items, labels and more. Allowing users to quickly access and organize their communications.

Signature Management

Tool to create and manage custom email signatures, which can include formatted text, images, and links.

Snooze

Function to temporarily remove a conversation from the inbox and have it return at a specified later time, managing workflow and focus.

Spam

Unwanted or unsolicited email messages that are typically sent in bulk and may contain advertising, phishing attempts, or other irrelevant content.

Starred Conversations

Feature to highlight conversations as important, making them quickly accessible and visible in a dedicated section.

Status

Indicates the current availability or activity level of a user, such as Having lunch, Away, Busy, etc.

Swipe Gestures

Touchscreen interactions for quick management of emails and conversations, such as swiping to archive, delete, or snooze.

Tasks

Action items or to-dos created within conversations, which can be assigned to team members and tracked to completion.

Two-Factor Authentication

A security feature requiring two forms of identification to log in, greatly increasing account security.

Undo Send

Allows a user to retract an email shortly after sending, correcting mistakes or unintended sends.

User Permissions

Specified access rights and restrictions assigned to users, determining what actions they can perform within Missive.

User Roles

Predefined roles within Missive that dictate the scope of actions a user can perform, such as Owner, Admin or Basic Member.

Webhooks

Web-based callbacks that trigger specified actions within external services or applications, improving automation and integration.
