Can we sync Gmail smart categories?
Gmail categories (Update, Promotions, Forums, Social) are not synced between Gmail and third party apps like Missive, contrary to labels. However, it is still possible to take advantage of Gmail’s smart categorizing by using filters to move marketing emails and such from your Inbox into custom labels. See how here.
