What are shared accounts and what do they cost?

These count as shared accounts when they are shared with people in your organization listed in the Message sharing tab of your Organizations settings.

For shared accounts, each user in an organization contributes 5 shared accounts to the total pool of shared accounts. For example, if an organization has 10 users, it will be able to add 50 shared accounts for free (10 users x 5 shared accounts each).

If an organization needs more shared accounts than what is calculated by the number of users, there is an extra charge. For every 5 additional shared accounts beyond the total calculated from the user count, the organization will be charged $15 per month.

Following the example where an organization has 10 users:

  • 1 to 50 shared accounts are included;
  • 51 to 55 add one extra $15 per month;
  • 56 to 60 add one extra $15 per month ($30 total);
  • 61 to 65 add one extra $15 per month ($45 total) and so on.

This extra is added to your monthly charge and is for the whole organization, not per user.
