Connect Missive AI to your other tools (via MCP)

Let Missive AI interact with external agents and MCP-enabled tools for secure, standardized communication between Missive and AI models.

Here are a few example prompts showing how you can leverage these MCP tools:

Fetch the last 5 churned subscriptions on Stripe, search for emails we exchanged with those customers and tell me what we did wrong
Create a Linear issue based on this @conversation
Search Notion for documents about our onboarding process and summarize the key steps
Search our custom CRM and suggest 5 contacts I should follow up with today, and explain why
Improved
  • Added the ability to configure prompts to fill the input without auto-submitting
  • Assistant now handles long conversations more intelligently, using fewer tokens and retrieving more context when needed
  • AI translation menu now remembers your last 5 used languages for quicker access
  • Added an opt-in setting to show rule-triggered webhook events in the conversation view
Fixed
  • Video and audio scrubbing in inline previews no longer triggers attachment drag
  • Rule changes not updating visually in the rules table after saving
  • Normalized paragraph spacing in API-created messages to match the spacing of messages composed in Missive
  • Fixed shared content being lost on iOS when the app wasn't running or was suspended in the background
  • Fixed mention groups by filtering out empty groups from search results and deduplicating groups from contact info
  • Fixed Firefox tab crash when text selection extends over SVG icons
  • Fixed the "Sometime" snooze option so it respects the disabled "Next Week" setting
  • Fixed prompt changes not being reflected immediately in the UI
  • Fixed search input stealing focus when a popup, dialog, or modal was open, and improved focus handling between the search bar and the AI assistant input
  • Fixed an error that could occur when stopping the AI assistant while it was still loading
  • Fixed missing spacing for traffic light buttons on iPadOS when using Split View or Slide Over
