AI tool calls now show details and progress
Tool calls display their parameters when expanded, and a spinner indicates when a tool is actively running. This makes it easier to understand what the assistant actually tried to do (for example, the exact search query it used), so when results aren’t what you expected, you can quickly adjust your prompt and guide the assistant in the right direction.
Setting to move conversation to top when commenting
By default, conversations move to the top when someone else comments, but not when you comment. Enable this new setting to also bump the conversation to the top of your mailbox or label when you add a comment:
Head to Settings → Preferences → General in the Actions section, then look for "Move conversations to top upon adding a comment”.
“Show in conversation” for attachments
From the files list in the right sidebar, you can now jump straight to the exact email or comment where a file was shared. This is a huge time saver in long threads, because you no longer need to hunt through dozens (or hundreds) of entries to find the message that included that PDF, image, or contract.

Less destructive AI proofreading
AI proofreading now preserves images, tables, and blockquotes instead of stripping or corrupting them.
Gmail and Outlook accounts auto-reconnection after temporary disconnections
If your Google or Microsoft account gets disconnected due to an expired token, Missive will automatically attempt to reconnect it in the background, reducing the need for manual re-authentication.
