Worders is a culturalization agency helping big tech companies and luxury brands deliver perfectly adapted content across different markets. When they needed an email solution that matched their streamlined approach, they found Missive.

After eight years with Front, Worders was facing a common SaaS renewal dilemma. They were using just a handful of features but paying for hundreds, and the customer support quality had notably declined after their last renewal.

"Everything came with the renewal," explains Benoit Laurent, founder at Worders. "When you're about to renew, everyone is super available to answer your questions. Then after renewal... nothing."

What made the situation particularly frustrating was being caught between pricing tiers. With 9-13 users, Worders was right on the edge between Front's starter and premium plans, forcing them to pay for advanced features their team never used.

"We were using maybe two or three features out of 200," Benoit says.

"When we tried to negotiate a starter plan with more users, Front spent three months telling us we needed features we didn't want, essentially saying 'you're too dumb to understand."

Looking for a solution that doesn't require a PhD to operate

The Worders team isn't composed of tech enthusiasts who love learning keyboard shortcuts and diving into complex interfaces. They're project managers in the localization business who need something straightforward.

"These people aren't super into tech products," Benoit explains. "They just want the send button to be in the same place. Reply to all, reply only, forward, paste. That's it."

This simplicity requirement became Worders' north star in their search for a Front alternative. After exploring several options, Missive consistently appeared in the top results and offered the clean, familiar interface they were looking for.

The results: A cleaner experience that just works

Transitioning from a tool your team has used for eight years is never easy. The Worders team was initially apprehensive about leaving their comfort zone.

Despite the initial hesitation, the Worders team has settled well into Missive. They appreciate the cleaner interface and the focus on core functionality rather than overwhelming feature sets.

For a company that helps brands communicate clearly across cultures, finding an email client that communicates clearly with its users feels like the perfect match.

"So far, we are super happy with Missive. We do have some feature requests, but I prefer having a clear view of what little features we're missing than having a ton of features that are useless at every step."

What's next for Worders and Missive?

Worders continues to use Missive as their operating system for customer communications, with one inbox per customer to keep everything organized. As they identify minor improvements (like team avatar updates and bulk attachment downloads), they're finding the Missive team responsive to their feedback.

In an era where many SaaS tools are adding AI features and complex functionality that most users don't need, Worders found exactly what they were looking for: an email client that focuses on doing email well.
